| 摘要 | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fullerene derivative reduced in the number of addition of substituents from various types of fullerene derivatives or an unmodified fullerene in a mild condition and speedily.SOLUTION: A method for producing fullerenes includes bringing a fullerene derivative having substituents (raw material FLN derivatives) into contact with an iron-containing compound to thereby obtain a fullerene or fullerene derivative reduced in the number of substituents. By bringing a fullerene derivative having one or more substituents into contact with an iron-containing compound, the number of the substituents bonded to the fullerene ring can be reduced by a retroreaction. |
